I am absolutely sure that the power of God harnessed in faith can change the world. I believe people are hungry for the bliss that comes as we embrace God, even though our human nature often chooses destructive and non-productive paths. This human struggle is at the very heart of who we all are. To encourage people to engage in the struggle, strengthen one another and strive to create a world filled with justice and peace is why I have chosen the profession of pastor. I struggle with my human predicament, just like every other person, but also believe that if we ignore this struggle, we give into an apathy and sense that to change the world is insurmountable. I would love for you to join us in this struggle. To find encouragement in people who also believe the world is destined for a better outcome and for us to be involved in it.

When it comes to praising God through music, I’m there! Whether our choirs shout, sing, or ring our bells with joy, whether we lift our voices in solemn prayer, we give glory to God through our music! As the director of music at CLC, I personally hope that you will consider joining our warm musical family. Come join us as we “make a joyful noise unto the Lord”!

I direct the Contemporary Worship Sundays at 8:30 am. This is a kid-friendly, fast paced worship directed toward families who have busy schedules, but want to fit in time for worship. In the coming months I hope to involve kids in a youth worship leadership team, and develop a youth-led contemporary worship.

I am Ralph Pugh and I’ve been the organist at Christ Lutheran since 2005. I have often commented that being a Christian is both complicated and simple, but for this statement I’ll keep it simple. I’ve been a church organist since the age of 15, and over the years I have felt the Holy Spirit move in the midst of congregational worship.

Rachel Krohn, Office Assistant |

I enjoy being the first contact people have with the church office. I hope my attitude conveys to visitors and callers how glad I am to hear from them. My most favorite days are the crazy ones - where the phone rings off the hook and people stop by and I get to do ministry from my office by helping people in some way. That's what energizes me. I love my role as Pastor John's administrative assistant, and I love supporting Bonnie, Joel and Kathy in their ministries.
