This fall, Christ Lutheran Church is hosting the 2010 CROP Walk to fight world hunger on Sunday, October 17th.

This event brings us together for fun and fellowship while raising money for a meaningful cause.  75% of the funds are used by Church World Service for disaster relief and self help development throughout the world. 25% of the funds raised will help feed the hungry, through the Hinsdale Community Services Food Pantry. 

What can you expect the day of the walk? You will be welcomed as you arrive, and given directions, a bottle of water, and will meet your fellow walkers.

Next, after a short prayer, you will be given a musical send-off by the Christ Lutheran Church Band. Along the route, the CROP Walk Support Group will check in with you to make sure that you're well hydrated, and doing well. Cold water and healthy snacks will be available throughout the day, for your comfort. Enjoy the beautiful fall scenery and meet other members of the community along the way.  

What should you do with the kids during the walk?  Bring them along! Babies and toddlers can ride along in a stroller, and older kids can walk, or ride along in your wagon.
